CAT Medium Excavators 325

This project focused on creating a detailed 3D model of the CAT 325 medium excavator, a widely used machine in construction, excavation, and infrastructure work.

The goal was to accurately reconstruct the machine’s structure, hydraulic systems, and mechanical proportions while maintaining clean topology and production-ready geometry suitable for professional visualization and simulation workflows.

Modeling Scope

The project included:

• Complete exterior body modeling
• Undercarriage and track system
• Excavator boom, stick, and bucket assembly
• Hydraulic cylinders and hose routing
• Operator cabin and structural frame
• Engine housing and rear counterweight
• Handrails, access steps, and protective components

Special attention was given to mechanical joints and proportions to ensure realistic movement and accurate scale.
